On behalf of the officers, Pro’s and Committees of Liverpool Filipino Association, I wish to extend my BIG THANK YOU to all our friends, guest, performers, and kababayans in the successful Christmas Party last night. I would like to extend our great appreciation too, to all the families who participated and welcomed us to their homes in the successful holding of the first carolling activity this December. 16-18 years old Aprenticeship opportunities for four people

We’ve been approached by Liverpool Community College about delivering NVQ level 3 diplomas. As a result, our Senior Management Team have given approval to employ 4 apprentices for 2 years to gain a qualification in either:

Building Surveying – 2 people
Customer Services – 2 people

The apprentices will be paid apprenticeship minimum wages and will be required to attend Liverpool Community college one day a week towards their studies. Due to the tight timescale of term times, the recruitment of apprentices is now underway via Liverpool Community College National Apprentice Scheme for a period of one week, with the view that an apprentice will start with us w/c 10th October.

This is a really exciting opportunity for us to employ apprentices within our teams & we are obviously keen to ensure the apprentices are employed from the local area, therefore in addition to signposts from JET & Connexions we have designed a flyer for the wider community.

In summary applicants must be:

· Aged 16-18 years old
· Have a minimum of English & Maths GCSE – grade A-C
· CV must be sent with a covering letter to Liverpool Community college – email address on flyer
